The Speed
Feed V2 is the hottest new item to hit the paintball scene this year.
The Speed Feed is an upgrade for all HALO and Empire Reloader B loaders
that does away with the lid o your loader and replaces it with an open
cap that has 4 plastic flexible fingers that only bend inward. This
design allows players to dump paint into their loader while preventing
the paint from coming back out.
So you may be asking yourself
why would I need this upgrade? Well its very simple! Anyone who has
played paintball for any length of time knows that every second counts
in this fast paced sport. The Speed Feed replaces your lid on your
loader so you don’t have to spend your time trying to pry your lid open
when you run out of paint.
Just pull out a pod and dump the
paint in. This saves valuable seconds that can make a major difference
in your game. One second can prevent you from being bunkered while
loading and one second may be the difference in a player making a
spectacular move down the field. The speed feed has quickly become the
most popular loader upgrade on the pro-paintball circuit.

Used by several Pro Paintball Teams
To install it, you unfasten all of the screws holding
the body together on your HALO/Reloader B and pull the two halves apart
enough to remove the lid, the pin that it rides on, and the spring.
You then put the loader back together and install the Speed Feed by
pressing it onto the loader, making sure to align the pin with the area
that previously held the lid, pin and spring. That's all there is to
it.
Installing the Speed Feed took under 10 minutes. Several
players voiced concerns about the open nature of the Speed Feed
allowing excessive dirt into the loader. During testing we noted that
a little more than usual dirt was getting into the loader, but we noted
no ill effects from it. Miami Raiders player LP Everett, who uses HALO
loaders while competing, said he hadn't noted any trouble with the
loader's eyes.
For a back/mid player, the Speed Feed is a
boon. Not having to fiddle with the lid on your loader while laying
suppressive fire kept the coverage I was able to extend to my teammates
going, and reloading became less of an issue as far as keeping the
opposition down while my teammates made their moves up the field. |
